At this meeting, Representatives of the NC Department of Emergency Management Hazard Mitigation Office will provide more detailed information about the funding opportunity, eligibility requirements and application process.
What is the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program?
The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) helps communities and property owners therein implement hazard mitigation measures following a Presidential major disaster declaration.
What to Bring
- Completed Project Grant Application Form (hard copy)
- Photos of Structure (one photo of each side)
- Elevation Certificate (if available)
- Proof of Flood Insurance (if applicable)
- Documentation of Florence-Related Benefits Received (Insurance, FEMA, etc.)
