The Town of Beaufort Board of Adjustment has cancelled their meeting for March 22, 2010. The meeting has been cancelled due to no requests being made.

Grayden Paul Bridge Repair Schedule
The contract repairs on Grayden Paul Bridge will begin on Monday, the 1st of March. According to the Department of Transportation contractor there will be at least a week of prep work before any lane closures or road closures begin. DOT will be placing message board signs along hwy 70 giving motorist information on any closures.
These are the time frames for lane closures and road closure per the D.O.T. contract:
| 6 a.m. – 9 p.m |
No lane or road closures |
| 9 p.m. – 11 p.m. |
Contractor can reduce to one lane traffic (lane closures) |
| 11 p.m. – 4 a.m. |
Contractor can totally close to all vehicle traffic (road closure)

| 4 a.m. – 6 a.m. |
Contractor can reduce to one lane traffic (lane closures) |
Waterway can be closed for 60 days to boat traffic.
Repair contract is March 1st through May 1st ; however, lane closures and road closures will be for only 17 days of the contract.

Comprehensive Growth Plan
The Town of Beaufort is interested in having citizens serve on a committee to review the Comprehensive Growth Plan. All in town residents and residents in the ETJ are encouraged to submit a letter of interest along with a brief resume to the Town Manager or the Town Clerk. The deadline for consideration will be March 31, 2010. Please contact Town Hall at 252-728-2141 with any questions.
