All positions require a high school degree, or the equivalent.  Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment health examination and drug screen.  Other requirements include a driving history, a criminal background check and a valid NC drivers license.  Public safety positions require a psychological evaluation.  Public Utility positions may require weekend, stand by and on call duties.  The Town of Beaufort is an equal opportunity employer.
