Public Notice 

The Town of Beaufort, North Carolina is seeking proposals from qualified individuals to secure a one-year contract for cleaning services for Town Hall, Beaufort Police Department and Train Depot.

Copies of the Proposal Forms are available at Town Hall, 701 Front Street, Beaufort, NC 28516, via e-mail: l.barber@beaufortnc.org or via town website www.beaufortnc.org.

Proposals must be submitted to Lorraine Barber at 701 Front Street, Beaufort, NC no later than Friday, Nov. 4, 2017 at 4 pm. Proposals must be clearly identified as “PROPOSALS FOR CLEANING SERVICES” and show the name and address of the submitting individual. Late proposals will not be considered.

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.

Standby Debris Removal Contract

The Town of Beaufort is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to load and haul vegetative debris and rubble from streets and public property following storms and other disasters. Qualified contractors must be capable of providing five front-end loaders, dump trucks, labor, appropriate insurance, and bonds. The contract will only be activated in the event of a storm or disaster.

Sealed bids should be submitted by Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 12 p.m. The Town of Beaufort reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive non-material bid defects.

Disaster Debris Monitoring Services 

The Town of Beaufort is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for disaster debris monitoring services following storms and other disasters.  The monitoring contractor will work for the Town to monitor a separate debris contractor’s day-to-day operations to ensure the Town’s expectations and contractual requirements are being met. Qualified contractors must be familiar with the FEMA regulations for Disaster Debris Monitoring. This contract will only be activated in the event of a storm or disaster.

The Town of Beaufort Board of Commissioners will hold their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 6 p.m. in the Train Depot located at 614 Broad Street, Beaufort, NC. The public is invited to attend.
