The 2012-2013 Town of Beaufort Fee & Usage Rate Schedule includes the new rates for the Planning and Inspection Department on pages 10-11.  Also included are the water and sewer tap fees and impact fees (page 7).  Check out the document for the most up-to-date information!
***REVISION***
     The Town's Building Permit application has been revised and may be easier to use!  Also note that we have created a Single Contractor Permit for only one contractor on the job.  This would be in leiu of filling out the four-page permit for only one contractor.  If you have questions, please call Debbie at (252)728-2141, ext. 224, or email d.graham@beaufortnc.org.With these application forms you are able to fill it out on your computer and print it out for the necessary signatures.  Unless you have the correct software, you cannot save the document you created.  You may still fax the completed applications to our office. The fax number is (252) 728-3982. We hope this will make obtaining a permit easier!  If you don't see what you need, please give us a call or send an email to the above. Thanks!

 *Some HVAC contractors will not be able to use the single contractor form unless they are licensed for the electrial portion. If so, please use single form with both state contractor license numbers. If not, please use sheets 3 and 4 of the four page application - the electrician will go on sheet 4 with the HVAC being the "contractor" on page 3. The electrican must sign page 4.
