With summer upon us, the Planning and Inspections Department wanted to remind everyone of the "Weeds and Noxious Growth" Ordinance set by the Town. The ordinance states "It shall be unlawful for any owner, lessee or occupant, or any agent, servant, representative or employee of any such owner, lessee or occupant having control of any lot or land or any part thereof in the town to permit or maintain on any such lot or land any growth of weeds, grass, or other vegetation to a height greater than six inches (6") on average, or any accumulation of dead weeds, grass, or brush."
Please contact our department at the phone number above or one of the email addresses listed below if you would like to report a suspected problem. Thanks!
