Planning Board Meeting

The rescheduled Planning Board Meeting will be held on September 30, 2019 at 6:30 pm at the Cafeteria (Old Beaufort Elementary School) located at 801 Mulberry Street. The meeting is moved from its regular location to this location due to potentially larger than normal attendance.

PUBLIC HEARING LEGAL NOTICE, REQUIRED BY STATUTE:

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Beaufort Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 30, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at 801 Mulberry Street (Cafeteria of former Elementary School), Beaufort, NC to consider the following:

REZONING REQUEST – Case No. 19-20 – Beaufort Village Condos, Lennoxville Rd. (+/-) 2.01 Acres – Request to rezone 2.01 acres from R-8 Residential to TCA Townhomes, Condominiums and Apartments.

REZONING REQUEST – Case No. 19-21 – 1113 Lennoxville Road – Request for .15 acres to be rezoned from R-8 Residential Medium Density to B-1 General Commercial.

ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT -  An amendment to Section 4 (Definitions) include a definition of a Micro Distillery and amendment to Section 9 (Non-residential uses)
