The installation of a duckbill type check valve is planned for the end of the storm water main line that traverses Queen Street from its beginning at Ann until it crosses Front Street whereupon it makes several turns before it outlets in Taylor Creek. The funds for this upgrade will be taken from the $60,000 slotted for "stormwater work" of the $1.4 million in ARPA grant funds the Town received in 2021 and 2022.
This project was completed in 2023.
