What to do if your name is listed?

• Payment and verification instructions will be emailed to you no later than 5 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025.
• Follow the instructions in the email

What if my name is not listed?

• If your name is not on the list and/or waiting list, unfortunately you will not be eligible for a space this year. You can reapply in January 2026 for the 2026 Lottery. 

What do I do if my name is on the Waiting List?

• Staff will email and/or call you if a space becomes available. This can take a month. Please be patient. 

How are spaces assigned?

• Spaces are assigned in the order names are drawn. Staff will make every effort to assign your first choice; however, that is not always possible. 

Payment:

• Payment is made at Town Hall, 701 Front Street, Beaufort, NC 28516 - Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. 
• Spaces must be paid for and claimed by within 15 business days of notification, otherwise the space will be reassigned to someone on the waiting list. 

Please note only those whose names are on the application will be permitted to pick up decals.
