Update Jan. 16, 2026: Due to inclement weather, the closure is anticipated to continue through Jan. 23, 2026
Live Oak Street will be closed from Center Street to Crescent Drive from Jan. 12-19, 2026.
This closure is a part of the NCDOT Roundabout Project: STIP Project No. U-6058 - Construct a Roundabout at U.S 70 (Live Oak Street) and N.C 101.
Following this closure, Live Oak Street will reopen with one lane of traffic in each direction. The center turn lane will be closed through spring 2026.
