NCDOT Roundabout Project Set to Start Early October

NCDOT conducted a public meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at Beaufort Elementary School. 

During the meeting, they shared the anticipated phasing and timeline of each road closure. All of the maps and materials from the meeting are available on the Town's website under the project page. (www.beaufortnc.org/projects)

Phase 1 is scheduled to last one week with a starting date of Oct. 6, 2025. The entire project is phased and is expected to be completed by summer 2027, with the majority of the work scheduled for completion by April 2027. There are 6 phases, each with differing traffic patterns. All of these phases and traffic patterns are available under the "Files" section of the project page.
