SCHEDULE UPDATE
FY20 Street Rehabilitation & Construction Project

The work of resurfacing Town streets is expected to resume on Tuesday, Dec. 15 and last through Friday, Dec. 18. The street segments schedule for work include:
- Live Oak Street between Broad Street and Cedar Street
- Campen Road from near Live Oak Street to Wellons Drive
- Taylors Creek Road
The work is to involve milling of the existing pavements during the early part of the week to be followed by paving over the latter part of the week. Vehicular traffic along these streets will be limited to a single lane. Short duration closures of these street segments to all traffic may also occur from time-to-time. Flaggers are to be present to control the movement of traffic during the periods of partial closure. They are also expected to be posted at the ends of the streets during any full closures.
The work of replacing water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer lines in the 100 block of Orange Street is also expected to continue during the week. As such, this segment of street will remain closed to thru traffic.
As has been the case in the past, the schedule described above is subject to change due to weather.
