Congratulations to Arts In Beaufort NC for completing "Time Flies" — a roughly 2,000 square foot mural located on the eastern side of the Michael J. Smith Field. This past Sunday, the mural was signed by members of the team that helped complete this project over the course of 8 weeks and 800 painting hours. Each of the artists were thanked for their hard work and dedication during this process — led by designer and Art Director Wendy Davidson. The team was comprised of 15 total members, made up of power washers, painters, and artists alike. This was made possible in large part through the donors of Beaufort and sales of artwork at the Olde Beaufort Farmers Market. "It really takes a whole community" says BJ Vincent, member of Arts in Beaufort. Along with this, the Arts Council of Carteret County gave a grant of $500 to Arts in Beaufort in support of this project. If you would like to check this out for yourself, this is visible from Highway 70 in Beaufort. Thank you all for your outstanding work! Photo Credit: Dylan Ray Photography
