BEAUFORT, N.C. — The Beaufort Firemen’s Association is inviting the community to join its Christmas in July Charity Ride on Saturday, July 11th, to help provide Christmas gifts for local children through the Angel Tree Program.
The event welcomes motorcycles, Jeeps, antique cars, and other participating vehicles for a morning ride supporting a worthy cause. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Tiller School, with kickstands up and vehicles departing at 9:00 a.m.
The cost to participate is $25 per driver and $5 per passenger. Passengers may also ride free by bringing one new, unwrapped gift to be donated to the Angel Tree Program.
All proceeds and donated gifts will remain in the local community and help ensure children in need experience the joy of Christmas this holiday season.
In addition to participating in the ride, supporters can purchase limited edition Beaufort Firemen’s Association Christmas in July shirts, which are available by pre-sale only. Shirts are available in Youth S-XL and Adult S-4X. Once shirts are in, they can be picked up the day of the ride or starting 7/13 at Beaufort Fire Station 1, 506 Live Oak Street.
