Temporary Closure of Public Restrooms Due to Inclement Weather

The Town of Beaufort will temporarily close the public restrooms located at Turner Street, the Dockhouse, and the boat ramp beginning Friday, January 30, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. for the weekend. These facilities are scheduled to reopen when staff return to work on Monday, February 2, 2026.

The restrooms at R.J. Park will remain open, as each facility is equipped with heaters. The affected restrooms will have water shut off and will be winterized to help prevent frozen or burst pipes due to forecasted low temperatures.

Signage will be posted on all affected restroom doors stating: “Bathrooms closed due to inclement weather.  Scheduled to reopen on Monday.”
