Beaufort, NC – The Town of Beaufort Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce that F3 Marina has been selected to manage the publicly owned Beaufort Town Docks under a five-year third-party management agreement. F3 Marina is positioned to assume full operational responsibilities on January 1, 2026. The agreement will remain in place through December 31, 2030.
Since 1978, Mr. Haywood Weeks and his team have leased and managed the Town Docks, delivering exceptional service to boaters, visitors, and residents for nearly five decades. The Town of Beaufort extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Weeks for his dedication, professionalism, and lasting contributions to the Beaufort waterfront. His current lease will conclude on December 31, 2025.
Under the agreement, F3 Marina will receive 3% of overall sales, including slip rentals and fuel sales, for management services. The estimated annual fee for these services is approximately $150,000. All remaining proceeds, after expenses, will be retained by the Town of Beaufort for reinvestment into waterfront and community priorities.
