Diesel-powered generators and associated equipment RFP
All sealed bids are due by Wednesday, August 20, 2025, no later than 12:00 p.m. (EST).
The Town of Beaufort requires generators to power existing lift station pumps and associated control panels. The Town also requires generators to power first responder facilities. The new equipment will allow for greater resilience of the overall system and operations of the Town of Beaufort. All generators are powered by diesel fuel. Each generator should have an automatic switch gear included in the bid. Generator installation, switch gear, wiring, and all permitting should be included in the bidder’s final submission.
All bids should include the following:
- Copy of full unit specifications
- Completed and Signed Bid Form (Attached).
- Generator installation, switch gear, wiring, and all permitting should be inclusive of the bidder’s final submission.
- Completed IRS Form W-9
- Certificates of Insurance – Commercial General Liability Insurance with the Town listed as an Additional Insured in an amount no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence limit/$5,000,000 aggregate limit for bodily injury, property damage, or personal injury; Worker's Compensation Insurance as required by the State of North Carolina General Statutes; Commercial Automobile Insurance applicable to bodily injury and property damage covering all owned, non-owned, and hired vehicles, in an amount not less than $1,000,000 combined single limit.
