The Town of Beaufort is requesting BIDS for 1st Street Stormwater Improvements located in Beaufort, North Carolina.
Description: Trench and place 270 linear feet of 24” RCP storm water pipe including one new 48” storm water manhole and two new drop inlets at depth of ~3-4 feet. Replace/rebuild existing junction box/drop inlet in existing parking lot area and remove water line from existing drop inlet on 1st St. Select fill, seed, fertilize, and fine grade disturbed area. Remove and dispose of 200 linear feet of existing 24” storm water pipe and plug remaining pipe with flowable fill.
Bids from qualified Bidders will be received by Sam Bell, PE, Assistant Town Engineer, until 3:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the Beaufort Town Hall located at 701 Front Street, Beaufort, NC 28516. Results of the Bids to include a bid tabulation will be provided upon award of the work to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined and/or obtained at Town Hall located at 701 Front Street, Beaufort, NC 28516. Persons requesting shipment of documents shall bear the additional, non-refundable cost of shipment.
The Town of Beaufort reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest.
