The Town of Beaufort is pleased to invite your financial institution to submit a proposal to provide
financing for the installation of a new fuel tank farm at the Beaufort Town Docks. This financing will be
structured as an Equipment Installment Financing Agreement pursuant to North Carolina General Statute
§160A-20.
Below please find the Request for Proposal (RFP), which outlines the project details, financing
requirements, and submission instructions. The Town seeks a financing amount not to exceed $1,200,000,
with a term of five years and fixed interest rate payments. The financing will be bank-qualified under
Section 265 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Proposals must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025, either in person or by email to Christi
