Dear Town of Beaufort Residents
On April 27, 2019 starting at 8 a.m., the Beaufort Fire Department will be doing live fire training at the property at 906 Live oak Street and the two house that are behind it on Craven Ave. This training is long in coming and we are hoping we have your support in being able to do this style of training for our members. This training gives our members real life scenarios to keep them sharp on the firefighting techniques. There will be street closures in the training area, Craven Ave between Lennoxville and First Street, First Street between Live Oak and Craven Ave also the slow lane on Live Oak between Lennoxville and First St. Street closures will start at 7 am. If you have any questions or concerns, please submit a letter via email or mail a letter to the address below. All concerns and questions must be in writing and submitted by April 15, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. A map may be found in the attachment.
