Chat with the Chief

As part of the Beaufort Police Department’s ongoing commitment to outstanding customer service, Chief Paul Burdette encourages all residents and local business owners to join him for the quarterly Chat with the Chief.
This meeting will be virtual due to Covid-19. Attend the meeting live on the Town of Beaufort’s Facebook page. You can ask questions during the meeting through the comment section of the live video or submit them in advance to r.johnson [at] beaufortnc.org.
Chat with the Chief is a program Chief Burdette has developed to provide the community with statistics, trends, and information on the operations within the Police Department. It also gives citizens a chance to discuss neighborhood issues, identify problems, discuss police/community relations, and to establish community partnerships.
