GFL Environmental will be operating on the following trash/recycling routes for the remainder of the year due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
"With Christmas and New Year’s Day both falling on Mondays, our operations will be impacted and all routes will be running on a one-day delay," said a spokesperson for GFL to the Town.
"For example, if a route is scheduled for Monday, it will be run on Tuesday so on and so forth for the remaining of both weeks through Friday which will be ran on Saturday instead."
The GFL Office will be closed Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, and Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, in observance of the holidays.

Christmas Tree Recycling
Christmas trees are picked up annually by the Town of Beaufort Public Works Department. Please place your live Christmas trees curbside and separate from Yard Debris by 7 a.m. on Monday mornings during the month of January for pickup (with the exception of Monday, Jan. 1 - pickup will be Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024). Trees are taken to Atlantic Beach for the recycling program.
