John Newton Park, 508 Front Street, is a pocket park under the oak trees situated about midway along the Town Boardwalk off of Front Street. The park is used for various events including the Beaufort Business Association's Rock the Docks Concert Series and Santa's workshop. There are multiple benches in the shade of the oaks which offer a quiet spot for enjoying a break in the downtown area.
