Intersection of Turner and Cedar Streets to be Closed

Road Closure for Sept. 9-10, 2021

The North Carolina Department of Transportation has notified the Town that they will be conducting work at the intersection of Turner and Cedar Streets starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. The intersection of Turner and Cedar Streets will be closed to all traffic for the duration. The work is anticipated to be complete before the start of the business day on Friday, Sept. 10; however, due to the nature of the work, the intersection will remain closed until work is complete.

NCDOT will be replacing storm water piping in the area of Turner and Cedar Streets. Please use caution and take alternative routes. Signage, message boards and barricades will be in place directing traffic.
