What is the role of a Steering Committee?

The Steering Committee's role is to provide advice, ensure delivery of the project outputs and the achievement of project outcomes. This may include such tasks as: Providing advice  about changes to the project as it develops.

Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee

• The Steering Committee will see the CAMA/Comprehensive Land Use Plan Update process through from start to finish through a series of meetings. 
• The Steering Committee is comprised of active members of the community. 
• In identifying Steering Committee members, Planning staff considered individuals who have been historically vocal in development and planning activities, individuals with established relationships throughout the community, and individuals that would be willing to commit to regular meetings for the duration of the project.    Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee Roster
